Seven Springs Promenade
Borsec's most beloved walking trail — the western continuation of Hétvezér Promenade,
linking 7 historic mineral springs, each with its own healing effects.
The walking cure of the seven springs
The Seven Springs Promenade is one of Borsec's most beloved walking routes — the western continuation of Hétvezér Promenade — connecting 7 historic mineral springs. Each well offers water with a different mineral composition, so the promenade itself is a healing tradition — a slow, contemplative cure in fresh mountain air.
The path runs via Stadion Street to the Seven Springs building, then continues into the Nădaș Stream Valley and returns in a loop to the town centre. The route is marked with a blue cross and is easy — also suitable for beginners.
Following the classic Borsec walking-cure tradition, the visitor visits each well in turn and sips water from each spring in a glass — different wells for different ailments. This tradition has been alive since the early 19th century, when Borsec became famous across Europe.
