Family-friendly ski and sports centre at the foot of the mountains
The Bradul Ski Slope in Toplița (Hungarian: Fenyő sípálya) is one of Harghita County's most popular winter destinations, ideal especially for beginner skiers and families. The slope lies at the foot of the Călimani Mountains, at an altitude of 870 metres, right next to Toplița.
The complex offers two different slopes: the longer, easier Bradul slope (1200 m, 11% gradient) for beginners and children, and the steeper Măgheruș slope (460 m, 23% gradient) for more experienced skiers.
The modern infrastructure — two Doppelmayr lifts (670 persons/hour), snow cannons, a snow groomer, night lighting, ski and snowboard rental — makes it one of the best-equipped family ski slopes in the region. Thanks to its snow-making system, snow cover is guaranteed even when the weather is unfavourable.

Bradul and Măgheruș
The complex actually features two different slopes: the longer, easier Bradul slope for beginner skiers and families, while the steeper, shorter Măgheruș slope offers a challenge to more experienced skiers and snowboarders.
Bradul slope — beginner
Length: 1200 m · Width: 56–60 m · Altitude: 870 m · Gradient: 11%
The longer, easier slope. A perfect choice for beginner skiers, children and families. Equipped with a snow-making system and night lighting — guests can ski even after dark.
Măgheruș slope — advanced
Length: 460 m · Width: 56–60 m · Altitude: 850 m · Vertical drop: 125 m · Gradient: 23%
The steeper slope is of medium difficulty and is recommended for more experienced skiers and snowboarders. Twice as steep as the Bradul slope, it offers an exciting challenge.
Modern, family-friendly ski infrastructure
The Bradul Ski Slope is one of the best-equipped family ski areas in the region — from snow cannons to night lighting, everything is in place for an enjoyable winter sport experience.
The complex operates two modern Doppelmayr lifts, with a combined transport capacity of 670 persons per hour. Each slope has its own lift, so you can spend the day on the snow with short waiting times.
The modern snow-making system ensures an even snow cover even when the weather is unfavourable. The slope is maintained with a snow groomer, so the snow surface is of excellent quality and safe every day.
The Bradul slope is also equipped with night lighting, so visitors can enjoy skiing after dark as well. The illuminated slope offers an experience with a special atmosphere on winter evenings.
The complex offers ski and snowboard rental, instructors, a warming hut, a restaurant and snow tube (sledging tube run) for small children. You'll find everything in one place — no need to bring your own equipment.

Did you know?
The Bradul Ski Slope is the 4th longest ski slope in Harghita County, after Borsec, Veresvirági (Ciumani) and Bucin — with a total slope length of 1.5 km.
The slope's lift capacity of 670 persons per hour is one of the best in the region — queues are short even during peak times, so skiers spend their time on the slopes rather than waiting for the lift.
A special feature of the complex is that it offers beginner and advanced slopes in one place — ideal for families, as parents can ski on the steeper Măgheruș slope while children ski on the easier Bradul slope at the same time.
The slope offers a view of the Călimani Mountains — on clear days, Mount Pietrosul (2100 m) and Mount Negoiul Românesc (2081 m) can also be seen from the top of the slope.
